When you visi Fiverr and search for some SEO services you may see individuals there, who offer to submit your website to ten, twenty, fifty, two hundred or even more search engines. Some people who are unfamiliar with SEO may think that it is a good idea to submit your website to 500 hundred different search engines. Firstly, I do not understand intentions of these SEO specialists. Are they planning to increase your search engine rankings by submitting your website to so many search engines, or they simply think that people use some of these five hundred search engines? I think that their aim is to make your website visible in all search engines, which exist n the Internet. Such SEO experts are not aware of the following facts.
Google is the most popular search engine on the Internet. Bing is in the second place. Yahoo has 3.48% of the market and all other minor search engines share remaining 1.18%. This makes it clear for everyone that there is no need in submitting your website to hundreds of different search engines. People don’t use unpopular search engines and there is no need to waste your time submitting it to hundreds of unknown search engines.
1) SEARCH ENGINES SUBMIT YOUR WEBSITE WITHOUT YOUR HELP
In fact, Google robots and other bots from other search engines surf the Internet and index web pages. Even if you don’t manually submit your website, search engines will submit it without your help. So don’t worry about that. If your website is new, you will see it in the search results soon. Just be a little bit patient.
2) ALL SEARCH ENGINES FOLLOW GOOGLE
When your website is submitted to Google (manually by you or automatically by Google), all other websites follow Google and start displaying your website in their search results. Of course, it may take time for your website to appear in the search results of other search engines, but finally, it will show up.
As you see, there is no reason for you to waste your time by submitting your website to dozens or even hundreds of different, unknown search engines. Value your time and don’t waste it!
