Jean-Baptiste Grenouille decides to replicate the scent of a young virgin girl. This wish leads him to a murderous path.
This is a very unusual, suspenseful, and thrilling story. I loved reading this book. It is written in a classic style. This is a classic masterpiece that will be popular forever. A motion picture based on the novel is stunning too.
This book is not a guide to perfume making. Nonetheless, it can tell you something about the art of perfumery. I would read this thrilling novel just for the sake of entertainment, and nothing more than that.
