I was a schoolboy when I read ‘The Alchemist’. There was a lot of hype about this book among my classmates who rarely read any books. Some of them were saying that ‘The Alchemist’ improves self-estimation, gives hope, and inspires. I decided to read it, and I loved it. The book is short and sweet. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be so popular among teenagers who hate reading. I wasn’t a bookworm during my teenage time. I was more preoccupied with girls and dating. Reading was something boring for me.

I guess you have already read ‘The Alchemist’. If not, then, you are not a bookworm. This book has been famous and popular for decades. Even people who aren’t fans of reading, have heard about ‘The Alchemist’. Thus, if you still haven’t read his book, you must do it. This book is very short. It fits your pockets. Can we call ‘The Alchemist’ a masterpiece? Maybe. The novel is very short, yet it carries a lot of wisdom and meaning.
