The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas

The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre DumasClassic fiction books are my favorite among fiction works. Though modern fiction novelists produce a lot of great books, nothing can beat classic masterpieces of literature. I can’t tell you that I have already devoured all the great classic books. However, I have read a lot of the world’s most famous and popular classic fiction books. ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’ by Alexandre Dumas is one of my favorite classic novels.

Alexandre Dumas is a famous and popular classic author of dozens of immortal classic novels that are still read by millions of people around the world. Since his early childhood, Dumas had only one talent – a talent to beautifully write. His beautiful calligraphy helped him to become an official royal writer. He was writing and signing letters of the royal French government. Later, Alexandre Dumas started writing novels. Dumas has written hundreds of various novels, and some of them became international bestselling classic masterpieces.

‘The Count of Monte Cristo’ is one of the most famous and popular books written by Alexandre Dumas. This great novel inspired several video directors to make motion pictures. Nowadays, we have old and modern movies based on ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’. For Alexandre Dumas, the very personality of the Count of Monte Cristo was an ideal man that the author himself wanted to resemble. The count was incredibly educated, erudite, well-read, culturally developed, smart, perspicacious, elegant, immensely rich, and what is more, he had a moral code. Alexandre Dumas created a prototype of an ideal man in ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’.

I think that the majority of readers have already read this wonderful masterpiece, and therefore, I am sure that most of you are familiar with the plot of the novel. Nonetheless, let me tell you a little bit about the story without spoiling your reading experience. A young man Edmond Dantes is unjustly imprisoned on the Iv island by a very powerful and corrupt man. While serving a life sentence in the island prison, Dantes meets an old and wise man – Abbot Faria. The whole story of the novel will tell you about the consequences of this amazing encounter.

‘The Count of Monte Cristo’ by Alexandre Dumas is one of my favorite books. Maybe, it is my most beloved fiction work. The story of this book touches my deep emotions. This novel is about patience, wisdom, power, and revenge. ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’ is a very deep and profound philosophical novel that educates readers. The genius of Alexandre Dumas brightly shines in this beautiful novel. I have never seen such picturesque and gorgeous descriptions as in ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’. The book is incredibly descriptive and vivacious. I loved the books for several things. First, it emotionally touched me. We all have been into unjust and corrupt situations when you can do nothing against the evil. In the novel, the main hero Edmond Dantes becomes powerful and gets revenge for the injustice he has suffered from. Secondly, the genius of Alexandre Dumas will leave you speechless. His writing style is stunning.

If you haven’t read this gorgeous book yet, then, you are surely missing a lot. ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’ is a must-read classic masterpiece that you can’t skip. This work deserves more hype, fame, love, and popularity than it gets.
